The API contract
Developers start a job with POST /v3/clips and poll GET /v3/clips/{clip_job_id}. The request can point to a video URL or uploaded asset and return up to ten clips in 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9 framing.
The job can burn in captions, write results to a folder and call a webhook when processing completes. That makes the endpoint usable in asynchronous publishing pipelines rather than only through HeyGen's dashboard.
